I wonder sometimes what heaven will look like. There are things in life that I have experienced, which give me an idea, but I still have this wonder left inside of me. I know that I will never truly know until I’m there, but isn’t it beautiful that even on earth we can still catch glimpses?

Over the last year, I have seen more and more glimpses of what heaven looks like, whether it’s people worshipping together from all different backgrounds, kids crying out to God at a summer camp, or even just by listening to the sounds of nature. Our lives were never meant to move so fast, and yet we make ourselves so busy and consumed with success, money, and building a future. Now, I’m not saying that is all bad and we shouldn’t, but there is a time when we should be searching for those little glimpses in our daily life. We should be seeking out what a life with Jesus looks like and not what we want our life to look like.

I’m learning to be still and not move myself ahead of what God has for me! I would challenge you to try this as well. Like the cliche says, “just stop and smell the roses once in a while.”
